Pastor of the Lockhart Baptist Church,
Reverend Jenkins is a native of South Santee, South Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC. He taught for one year in Augusta, Georgia, and then entered the University of Miami at Oxford, Ohio. He received his Masters of Arts Degree and then returned to the state of South Carolina and his Alma Mater Claflin College, where he taught and coached for two years. In 1983, he began working in the Orangeburg public school system at Edisto High School, now retired.
